“It was a dark and stormy night; the rain fell in torrents, except at occasional intervals, when it was checked by a violent gust of wind which swept up the streets (for it is in London that our scene lies), rattling along the housetops, and fiercely agitating the scanty flame of the lamps that struggled against the darkness.” --- 1st Baron Lytton

The Legend of the Nine Unknown Men
(based in Louis Pauwels and Jacques Bergier writings)
This legend goes back to the time of the Emperor Asoka, who reigned in India from 273 B.C. He was the grandson of Chandragupta who was the first to unify India.
Ambitious like his ancestor whose achievements he was anxious to complete, he conquered the region of Kalinga which lay between what is now Calcutta and Madras. The Kalingans resisted and lost 100,000 men in the battle.
At the sight of this massacre Asoka was overcome. Forever after he experienced a horror of war. He renounced the idea of trying to integrate the rebellious people, declaring that the only true conquest was to win men's hearts by observance of the laws of duty and piety, because the Sacred Majesty desired that all living creatures should enjoy security, peace and happiness and be free to live as they pleased.
A convert to Buddhism, Asoka, by his own virtuous example, spread this religion throughout India and his entire empire which included Malaya, Ceylon and Indonesia. Later Buddhism penetrated to Nepal, Tibet, China and Mongolia. Asoka nevertheless respected all religious sects.
He preached vegetarianism, abolished alcohol and the slaughter of animals. H.G. Wells, in his abridged version of his _Outline Of World History_ wrote: "Among the tens of thousands of names of monarchs accumulated in the files of history, the name of Asoka shines almost alone, like a star."
It is said that the Emperor Asoka, aware of the horrors of war, wished to forbid men ever to put their intelligence to evil uses. During his reign natural science, past and present, was vowed to secrecy. Henceforward, and for the next 2,000 years, all researches, ranging from the structure of matter to the techniques employed in collective psychology, were to be hidden behind the mystical mask of a people commonly believed to be exclusively concerned with ectasy and supernatural phenomena. Asoka founded the most powerful secret society on earth: that of the Nine Unknown Men.
It is still thought that the great men responsible fro the destiny of modern India, and scientists like Bose and Ram believe in the existence of the Nine, and even receive advice and messages from them. One can imagine the extraordinary importance of secret knowledge in the hands of nine men benefiting directly from experiments, studies and documents accumulated over a period of more than 2,000 years.
What can have been the aim of these men?
Not to allow methods of destruction to fall into the hands of unqualified persons and to pursue knowledge which would benefit mankind. More >

"The Changeover" Chronicled by Mark Stearn.

I am experiencing many vibrational earths moving in sway with the overall tide. The crystal cities of the planet are reaching their heartbeams into the safe places where there is no discordance and anchoring the overall flow of all that is at this time. What it means is that there is a tremendous crossover to the New Earth happening as I write this. Many souls are in transition that are transported directly to the new planet. Earth's flora and fauna are far more aware now of the New Earth's presence and indeed they love and live from this expanded space. More >

The dream started when I was very young - I am in a room low lit, quiet, filled with bookshelves - like a small library. I sense motion and start down the 3 carpeted steps. As I take my first step an object rolls out from behind one of the book shelves. I am afraid but curious. The object is of a weird metal shiny but dull - odd. The shape is of a wheel within wheel circles within circles moving but ball shaped. The object stopped as if looking at me and I woke up - This dream has reoccurred through my life and every time it picks back up and the object rolls a little farter and I get a little closer. I have always wondered what it was - why it reoccurred.
About 8 years ago I saw a movie called Chariots of the Gods (amazing documentary style movie from 1977 by Erick Von Daniken about the physical evidence of visits by galactic travelers who came to earth - Nasca lines - ancient hieroglyphics etc.) In one part of the movie Erick is showing old biblical paintings revealing spaceships in the sky etc. All of a sudden I find myself looking at the object - the thing from my dreams that rolls across the floor - it was like someone else had stepped into my dream and painted it. Revelation oh my god - that's it! What is it? I have come across the object at different times since.
Recently I decided to do a little research on Alchemy - furthering my spiritual evolution. Once again I came across the object in a painting. Left side of pic Wheel within a wheel.
The quest for information led me to this forum. I would like to ask if anyone else has had this experience or can someone explain what the object is to me. Why I would have manifested it in dreams as a child, that have reoccurred my whole life.
In the dreams I get closer each time - What happens when I get close enough to touch it? More >

Not very long ago I had a dream !
Nothing very exceptional about that you might say - except I haven't had a dream (or at least not one that I remembered) in over ten years !
Ayway - in my dream I was me (Scotty) and I was my 'watcher me' both at the same time.
My 'watcher me' had this ability to send me (Scotty) back in time !
So - the watcher me kept sending me back in time to re-do things that I'd already done in the past but hadn't worked out right !
This kept on happening over and over again.
In one part of the dream I remember distinctly having sown seeds - these seeds began to germinate and eventually the flower came. But - it wasn't right - it wasn't the flower it should have been !
it had been changed somehow along it's growing path - so the 'watcher me' kept sending me back to re-sow the seed and follow it's growth pattern untill eventually it turned out to be the perfect flower it was intended to be !
I've the feeling that my dream was long and complex - involving changing things in my life that had gone wrong - and I had the strongest impression that each time the 'watcher me' sent me back I carried no memory of having been through all this before - but there was however some kind of 'learning mode' in the back of my mind that I could draw upon - as if I were using past experiances to improve my latest effort to try and get it right this time !
My me (the Scotty me) was quite happy to be going through all of this - time after time - and my 'watcher me' felt quite .... motherly - tender even - watching me grow with each effort !!
Then I woke up !!
About a couple of weeks later I started reading a book called Oversoul 7
