Whole Earth Negligence ? Whole System Negligence ? - or just Ignorance and Apathy ??
It took me some time to realise the terms I use, like Ignorance and Apathy are too shallow. More to come ...
Do we avoid the frame, the big picture and instead focus on the smallest detail and close our eyes? - calling everything beyond our direct "touch" non-existent ? or not "relevant"??
Whole Earth Negligence ? Whole System Negligence ?
It took me some time to realise the terms I use, like Ignorance [link] are too shallow.
In German the word negligence is not just "Nachlässig" (inattentive/unguarded with a slant towards being ignorant, lazy, apathetic), but can be also "Fahrlässig" (careless / wantonly or grossly negligent) and that is a crime which makes you liable, responsible.
It was and is all too easy to just ask the people or the individuals to follow commandments (top-dow), to do good acts (bottom-up). Additionally we need to questions top-down who sets and understands the frames of references. We all need more than a "road-map" but an idea about the context and the ability to step back, see the big picture and frames, perhaps learn to check the outline and be context and structure "bound". (I see inbound and outbound as not being enough.
Who cares for and understands bigger pictures, includes many and other views in multi-modal combined picture/models?, who can govern in a world of post-modern apathy?
I am thinking about creating a BLOG about big-picture thinking. Is it possible to think big and avoid to have our brains and gots shrink?
I will add more here and elsewhere soon.
Now it is soon NEW YEAR and so we should make sure me make a difference - something that matters and helps others...
