THE FOREST GREEN: The Winds

a poem

The Winds

The craggy cliffs o'er the crashing sea
Call the winds back to my lonely door
I wait for you to show your face
but I don't see you anymore

The winds may blow through the sky
Singing a song or a wailing cry
They call the winds back to my door
but I don't hear you anymore

Now the air is close and oddly still
Laden with an expectant will
I sense somewhere a hidden door
Through which you dwell forevermore
