THE FOREST GREEN: Beyond the Storm
 Beyond the Storm3 comments

Beyond the Storm

The gray sky sits
Like a sodden blanket
A suffocating pall
My deep breathing
Does not dispel it

Stamping my feet
I gather myself together
“Come now winds!”
“Shine forth sun!”
So I gaze and wait

Within I find the fire
My own sun inside
Why should I wait ?
The sun is with me
And I am with you

Together we walk
Sharing our light
Above the clouds
Beyond the storms
Fire in our wake

I'll ask Ming.
