THE FOREST GREEN: BY FATE'S DECREE

By Fate's Decree

Whispered ardor in my dreams…
Fiery notes are played for me.
What depths shall I in the vortex fall?
Am I lost by fate's decree?
While your love, like errant sunbeams
Burst forth, enthrall.

I see none but you,
Tho' other faces seek to claim my eyes.
There's no solace in the daytime glow,
Where the light ne'er sees my secret cries.
You dwell inside my heart you know,
No matter what I say or do

While your love, like gentle sunbeams
Burst forth, enthrall.
Fill me up, encompass all
Me and you in wondrous schemes
Whispering ardor in my dreams

Reality shakes the night away.
Your face remains, and the knowledge flows
like devil's smoke 'round my feet.
Love's hunger through the daylight grows
Bringing forth mem'ries sweet
And promises of the waning day.

While your love, like blazing sunbeams
Burst forth, enthrall.
Fill me up, encompass all
Me and you in wondrous schemes
Whispering ardor in our dreams

What a lovely poem.
I've never realized how much I love poetry until I met you.
It is perfectly calm here, ah, there is a train whistle in the distance.

Mmm. Very evocative (nice tree too!!). I've been re-evaluating the whole 'Fate vs Create Your Own Reality' thing recently.

26 Jul 2004 @ 09:45 by spiritseek : can we tell the difference?
how can we tell if its fate or creating our own reality? Was the reality created before we were born thus making it fate? We now are justing moving along in the dream of that reality which was created before? Deep isn't it?
